The Silent Crisis
Let’s talk about a“silent crisis” that is happening quietly in everyone’s life and doesn’t require introduction – TENSION or STRESS
In their 20s and 30s the majority of young adults probably know this feeling well – the phase of constant uncertainty. This phase is supposed to build a career, choosing which path to take, and trying to look confident while doing it.
But honestly, it just feels harder to keep it all together;
Jobs are harder to get.
Wages are not keeping up.
And the “dream job” everyone talks about often feels more like a myth.
And with the rising cost of living, even basic stability feels like a luxury.
And when you are facing all this, the elders ask,
“So, when are you planning to settle down (get married)?
How funny ? You’re barely managing to stand up under all this pressure, how to think of getting married.
But There’s more
But wait, it doesn’t end there.
Social media also joins the party. When you are online, it looks like everyone else has found a perfect job, perfect life partner and is well settled.
It makes you tense. You just start assuming that everyone else knows something better than you to be a successful young adult.
So What’s your worth?
And society constantly keeps reminding you to buy a house, start investing and save for the future.
The message is clear: your worth is measured in assets, not aspirations.
Your Perspective matters
Yes, life feels uncertain right now. But uncertainty is also a possibility.
It is the space where creativity, courage, and growth begin.
The fact that you are struggling doesn’t mean you are failing.
In fact you are growing stronger, because the rise of tension can also be the rise of transformation.
A Personal Note from The Author’s own life experiences
Here it is also worth mentioning that your Crisis may tougher than most, with No solution in sight.
However, having gone through rough patches in my own life’s experiences; and also having observed the same in our society –
– Spirituality plays a significant role in overcoming this crisis.
When we grow up connected to God and surrounded by a spiritual environment, it fills our hearts with positivity, strengthens our spirit, and inspires us to work hard and rise above challenges.
