In 2010, the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh witnessed a profound act of humanity. A team of medical professionals, led by Mr. Dave Mann, a Vancouver-based philanthropist, arrived at Baru Sahib under the banner of Operation Rainbow Canada. Their mission? To provide free medical care, life-changing surgeries, and critical healthcare services to the underserved.
The camp wasn’t just a medical initiative; it was a lifeline for those who had never dreamed of receiving specialized care. Over 100+ free plastic surgeries were performed, transforming lives and restoring dignity.
But while the 2010 camp left a lasting impact, the need for such initiatives has only grown.
